Hi All!
This October launches the SIXTH season for the Lowe House Project artist in residency program at the Historic Lowe House in Old Town Tubac!
We invite more of you creatives to join us this season. There are lots of opportunities to participate and collaborate in addition to our residency programs:
- Musical performances featuring the work of musicians, song writers, and composers.
- Fine art, photography, and film workshops and exhibitions.
- Hands-on craft playshops, including handmade papers and books, ceramics, textiles, and holiday projects such as hand-painted Ukrainian Easter eggs and Christmas ornaments.
- Author talks, readings, and book signings, and writing workshops.
We’re also looking for a sculptor or fine wood worker to return our on-site workshop to its former functioning, creative glory. We’re open to offering it rent free initially to get you started. Please contact me to discuss how we can make it happen.
We support our creatives! We ask only 10% of your gross proceeds to help maintain the Historic Lowe House property and provide the community with affordable – or free! – access to the arts and arts education.
We’re working on the calendar, so if interested, set your date now and we’ll work out the particulars as we can.
